Responsibilities:

• Handles daily support incidents, desktop and server troubleshooting, hardware/software installation and upgrades, new infrastructure build outs and relocations.
• Identifies and proposes network efficiencies and optimize networks.
• Provides support in the implementation of new IT infrastructure and relocations.
• Performs routine network monitoring and maintenance of new network devices.
• Manages and provides regular updates on the implementation of projects assigned.
• Performs all other tasks/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Supervisor/Department Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology/Computer Engineering or Equivalent.
• CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, ITSM, MCSE and other relevant certifications will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2-year experience in Network Engineering / System Engineering.
• Knowledge in Layer 3 switching & routing, firewall, wireless, load balancers.
• Experience in CISCO network devices such as routers, switches.
• Experience in Active Directory, DNS, GPO, VPN.
• Experience in Virtualization like VMware will be advantageous.
• Experience in MPLS, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and network security related implementation will be an added advantage.
• Has good software documentation skill.
• Has an eye for detail, willing to be trained and a fast learner.
• Well organized, proactive and self-decided, able to perform with minimal supervision and also a team player.
• Has good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
