Major Responsibilities:

• Researching and writing on sports topics, personalities and events.
• Providing editorial function in reviewing, editing and re-drafting articles/materials from 3rd parties, as necessary.
• Handling Press enquiries, preparing press releases and/or corporate communication and/or company brochures and marketing materials.
• Providing general assistance to marketing team and carrying out assignments and/or duties as assigned in connection with the above.

Qualifications/Knowledge skills set:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Mass Communications preferably in Journalism, English, Public Relations or Liberal Arts.
• Between 25-32 years old
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Excellent writing skills, experience in copy editing an advantage
• Familiar with BRITISH ENGLISH writing style
• Impressive communication skills/ articulate
• Has keen interest in and has basic knowledge of various sports
• Has been exposed to UK football and Soccer event writing
• Personable
• Ability to meet deadlines
